# Change the database's bundle plan

`POST /v1/databases/{databaseID}/resize-bundle-plan`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.liara.ir`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Moves a running database to another bundle plan. The bundle plan sets backups, metrics retention, editable settings and public network access. Moving to one that doesn't allow a feature you use fails. You can't move to a cheaper bundle plan soon after moving to a more expensive one. Team permission: `manage`.

## Path parameters

- `databaseID` string, required: 24-character hexadecimal ID.

## Query parameters

- `teamID` string: 24-character hexadecimal ID.

## Request body

- object
  - `bundlePlanID` 'basic' | 'standard' | 'pro', required: The bundle plan, which sets backups, metrics retention, editable settings and public network access.

## Response `200`

The bundle plan was changed. The response body is empty.

## Other responses

- `400`: The body or `teamID` is invalid, or the bundle plan isn't available for the database's plan.
- `401`: The API token is missing, invalid or expired.
- `403`: With `teamID`: you aren't a member of the team (`team_not_found`), or you don't have the required permission on this database (`no_permission`).
- `404`: No running database with this ID.
- `428`: You upgraded recently (`downgrade_limit`), or the new bundle plan doesn't allow custom settings (`parameter_limit`) or public network access (`public_network_limit`) that you use.
