# Delete Domain

`DELETE /domains/{domain}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.lettr.com/api`
- URL: `https://app.lettr.com/api/domains/{domain}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete a sending domain. This removes the domain from both SparkPost and the Lettr system. The domain will no longer be available for sending emails.

## Path parameters

- `domain` string, required

## Response `204`

Domain deleted successfully

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized - Missing or invalid API key
- `404`: Domain not found
- `422`: Validation error - Invalid domain format
- `500`: Server error - Failed to delete domain
- `503`: Service unavailable - the API key could not be verified, so the request was not processed. This does not mean the key is invalid; retry after the delay given in the Retry-After header.
