# Bulk delete audience lists

`DELETE /audience/lists/bulk`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.lettr.com/api`
- URL: `https://app.lettr.com/api/audience/lists/bulk`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete up to 50 lists in a single request. All `list_ids` must belong to the authenticated team. If any list has segments restricted to it, nothing is deleted and the response is `409` `list_in_use`. Requires the `audience:write` scope and is blocked for sandbox API keys.

## Request body

- BulkDestroyAudienceListsRequest: Bulk delete audience lists
  - `list_ids` string[], required: 1–50 list IDs (all must belong to the authenticated team)

  - `data` object, required
    - `deleted` integer, required: Number of lists actually deleted

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized - Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Forbidden - API key does not have the required scope
- `409`: The list is used by segments
- `422`: Validation error
- `500`: Internal server error
- `503`: Service unavailable - the API key could not be verified, so the request was not processed. This does not mean the key is invalid; retry after the delay given in the Retry-After header.
