# Answer an open booking question

`POST /api/v1/flights/bookings/{booking_id}/answer`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Answer the open `question` on a booking. Echo its `round` — a stale round is refused with
`409` rather than guessed at.

Seat question: `{round, seats: [...]}` to choose, or `{round, skip: true}`.
Price change or paid extra: `{round, confirm: true}` to accept, `{round, skip: true}` to
decline. Declining an extra still completes the booking without it.

- `booking_id` string, required

## Request body

- BookingAnswerRequest
  - `round` integer, required: Echo the `round` of the question you are answering. A stale round is refused.
  - `seats` object[]: Seat choices for a `seat` question, one per passenger.
  - `confirm` boolean: Accept a `price_change` or `extra` question.
  - `skip` boolean: Decline the extra, or skip seat selection.

## Response `200`

Answer accepted

## Other responses

- `409`: `no_open_question`, or the `round` is stale.
