# Api Get Law

`GET /api/v1/{country}/laws/{law_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://legalize.dev` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://legalize.dev/api/v1/{country}/laws/{law_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Get a complete law with full Markdown content.

Fetches content from GitHub. Slower than /meta for metadata-only use cases.
Free tier: basic fields + content_md.
Pro tier: adds department, source, last_updated, extra (country-specific metadata).
Read `kind` and `warning` before quoting: `incomplete` identifies a source
integrity warning, independently of the body's `text_state`.
