# Create group member

`POST /member/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://eu-api.legalesign.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://eu-api.legalesign.com/api/v1/member/`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

If the email is a registered user then access to group will be immediate, otherise an invitation will be created and emailed.

## Request body

- MemberPost
  - `group` string, required
  - `email` string, email, required
  - `do_email` boolean: use legalesign to send email notification to new user
  - `permission` 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6: Permissions options: * 1 - administrator * 2 - team docs visible, create & send * 3 - team docs visible, send only * 4 - no team sent docs visible, send only * 5 - no team docs visible, create & send * 6 - team docs visible, read only

## Response `201`

operation successful

## Other responses

- `400`: operation not successful, e.g. person is already a member or not yet joined
