# Remove Back work intake files before import

`POST /tally/programs/backwork-bookkeeping/{id}/files/remove`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`

Requires firm owner/admin accounting authority. Removes wrong Back work intake files by program inbox path or file id, then rescans the intake. Removing or replacing intake before import invalidates dependent preflight, package, and preview state through the ordinary evidence-change path.

## Response `200`

Removed file outcomes and refreshed intake scan

## Other responses

- `409`: The Back work program has an import receipt or is terminal; ordinary recoding remains available.
