# Cancel imported Back work and start a fresh program

`POST /tally/programs/backwork-bookkeeping/{id}/cancel-and-restart`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`

Requires firm owner/admin accounting authority. After Back work import has started or completed, cancels the current program and starts a clean Back work intake for the same company. It does not unwind posted activity; imported activity remains until ordinary LedgerHQ correction tools handle it.

## Response `200`

Cancellation counts, new conversation id, and restart progress

## Other responses

- `409`: The Back work program has an import receipt or is terminal; ordinary recoding remains available.
- `default`: Error response
