# Preview a visible workspace file

`GET /tally/files/{fileId}/preview`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Revalidates current access and returns bounded preview content without exposing stored-object keys. For a PDF or image the `inline` kind carries a stable, session-authorized relative app path (`/api/v1/tally/files/{fileId}/preview?content=inline`), not a signed or expiring URL; it is fetched with the same session and re-authorizes on every request. Other kinds return a CSV/XLSX row window, text excerpt, safe ZIP listing, or a download-only result.
