# Clear the visible Tally chat without cancelling an import program

`POST /tally/conversations/{id}/clear-chat`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1`
- URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1/tally/conversations/{id}/clear-chat`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`

Hides the conversation's visible chat transcript and cancels queued/running turns so Tally stops mid-reply, but leaves any active Back work or QuickBooks import program and its artifact intact. Use this when the user wants a clean chat beside an in-progress import. To abandon the program itself, call /tally/conversations/{id}/stop instead.
