# Create a consolidation group

`POST /reports/consolidations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`

Firm staff with report management permission. Saves a named group of two or more accessible client companies, the intercompany accounts it eliminates, and account headings that combine differently named accounts. Report setup only; never changes the books.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required
  - `companies` object[], required: Two or three member client companies in column order
    - `organizationId` string, uuid, required
    - `label` string: Optional short column heading
  - `eliminatedAccounts` object[]: Intercompany accounts eliminated across companies, matched by type and name (case and spacing ignored)
    - `type` 'asset' | 'liability' | 'equity' | 'revenue' | 'expense', required
    - `name` string, required
  - `accountHeadings` object[]: Group-only headings that combine differently named accounts into one report row; company books are not changed. An account belongs to at most one heading, and eliminating an account in a heading eliminates the heading
    - `type` 'asset' | 'liability' | 'equity' | 'revenue' | 'expense', required
    - `name` string, required: Heading shown on the report
    - `accounts` string[], required: Account names to combine, case and spacing ignored

## Response `201`

Saved group

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid group or a company listed twice
- `403`: Firm staff with report management permission is required
- `404`: A company is not one you can access
- `default`: Error response
