# Inspect or request a targeted statement refresh

`POST /plaid/statements/refresh`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1`
- URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1/plaid/statements/refresh`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`

Requires manage:banking and bank_accounts:read_write. confirm=false lists/downloads existing PDFs and returns the proposed Item-wide posted-date range and recent refresh receipts without a paid request. confirm=true requests overdue bank or credit-card statements using existing Item locks, range idempotency, and one-request-per-UTC-day protection. No automatic scheduler changes. Poll with confirm=false after the asynchronous Plaid webhook; submission is not proof of PDF delivery.

  - `connectionId` string, uuid, required
  - `confirm` boolean, required: Explicit approval for a paid request; false only inspects and downloads already-available PDFs.

## Response `200`

Inspection or request outcome, safe proposed range, list/download counts, and recent refresh receipts with provider request IDs and completion state.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Insufficient scope or role
- `404`: Connected live Item not found in this organization
