# Get the Gusto connection status

`GET /payroll/gusto/status`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1`
- URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1/payroll/gusto/status`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`

The stored connection's company name and granted scopes, proven with a live read-only call. Tokens never leave the server. When the live check fails but a connection is stored, returns connected:false with hasConnection:true so clients keep showing cached history. Scoped to the authorized organization.
