# Update an invoice item

`PATCH /invoice-items/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1`
- URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1/invoice-items/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`

Updates name, unit price, default revenue account, or active state. unitPrice is in major currency units and may be negative. Pass accountId null to clear the default. Deactivate with isActive=false; items are never hard-deleted. Requires manage:invoices.

- `id` string, uuid, required

- object
  - `name` string
  - `unitPrice` number: Major currency units; negative for discount items
  - `accountId` string, uuid, nullable: Default revenue account UUID, or null to clear
  - `isActive` boolean

## Response `200`

Updated invoice item

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found
- `409`: An active item with this name already exists
- `default`: Error response
