# Update company owner and Tally request settings

`PATCH /companies/{companyId}/owners`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1`
- URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1/companies/{companyId}/owners`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`

Sets the Bank connect owner or updates whether Tally may ask this company's owners for bank connections and statements. Firm members may still send either request manually when a Tally setting is off.

    - `tallyBankConnectionRequestsEnabled` boolean
    - `tallyStatementRequestsEnabled` boolean: Ignored legacy input. Use statement coverage policy autoRequestEnabled.
  - object
    - `clientInvoicingAccess` 'client_manages' | 'view_only' | 'hidden', required: Who handles invoicing for this company's client portal logins: client_manages (create customers, items and invoices, send, record payments), view_only (see invoices only), or hidden (no Invoices tab). Staff access is unchanged.
