# Import customers

`POST /bulk/contacts/import`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1`
- URL: `https://ledgerhq.pro/api/v1/bulk/contacts/import`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`

Import contacts from a raw QuickBooks Customer Contact List CSV (csvContent) or pre-mapped rows. Existing customers, such as those a QuickBooks journal import added, get only their blank email, phone, tax number, addresses, and notes filled; existing values are never overwritten. Run after the chart of accounts and journal import and before /bulk/invoices/import so open invoices can resolve their customers.

  - `rows` object[]: Alternative to csvContent: pre-mapped rows (name, email, phone, type, taxNumber, billing address fields)
