# Correct starting-point carry-forward items

`PATCH /bank-accounts/{id}/starting-point`

## Request

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`

Previews or applies a correction to which posted imported transactions through the saved starting-point cutoff remain outstanding. The saved date, balance, manual baseline rows, and completed baseline stay unchanged. A later completed reconciliation makes this correction unavailable.

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

  - `selectedTransactionIds` string[], required: Complete desired set of posted imported transaction UUIDs through the saved cutoff that should remain outstanding.
  - `preview` boolean: Calculate added and removed rows without writing when true.
  - `reason` string: Optional audit reason for the correction.
