# Update bank account settings

`PATCH /bank-accounts/{bankAccountId}`

## Request

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`
  - HTTP bearer and API key in header `x-organization-id`

Partial update of bank-account settings (name, number, institution, type, active flag, chart mapping, and lowBalanceThreshold — integer cents, null clears the low-balance alert). chartAccountId must belong to the company. Remapping is refused with 409 while the current chart account has posted entries, because they would stay behind.
