# Durable skills frameworks

`GET /durable-skills-frameworks`

## Request

Fetches the list of DurableSkillsFramework objects available in the knowledge graph.

Durable skills frameworks describe transferable competencies — collaboration, communication, critical thinking and similar — rather than subject-area academic content. They are published outside the CASE Network, so they carry no CASE identifiers and are addressed by their Knowledge Graph `identifier`.

Use this endpoint when you need to:
- Discover which durable skills frameworks are available
- Find the framework `identifier` required by GET /durable-skills
- Get framework metadata (name, description, publisher, modification dates)

Retired frameworks are excluded by default. Set `includeNonCurrent=true` to include them.

Successfully retrieved list of durable skills frameworks

- object: Cursor-based paginated response
  - `data` object[], required: Array of result items
    - `identifier` string, required: The unique identifier for this framework in the Knowledge Graph system. This is a system-generated identifier that remains stable across data updates. Use it to retrieve the framework's skills via GET /durable-skills.
    - `name` string, nullable: The name or title of the framework (e.g. "XQ Competencies", "Carnegie Skills Progressions")
    - `description` string, nullable: A description of the framework providing additional context about its structure, scope and origin

    - `inLanguage` 'en-US' | 'es-US': Language used in the resource (BCP 47 format)
    - `isCurrent` boolean: Whether this framework is currently in effect. Frameworks that have been superseded or retired are excluded from responses by default; set includeNonCurrent=true to retrieve them.
    - `dateCreated` string, date, nullable: The date on which this framework was created in the source system
    - `dateModified` string, date, nullable: The date on which this framework was most recently modified
    - `author` string, required: The author or creator of this framework, typically the organization that published it
    - `provider` string, required: The service provider or organization that makes this data available in the knowledge graph
    - `license` string, uri, required: A URL to the license document that applies to this content
    - `attributionStatement` string, required: A textual credit that acknowledges the source and creator of this work, as required by the CC BY 4.0 license. If you display or redistribute this framework, you must include this attribution statement to comply with the license terms.
  - `pagination` Pagination, required: Cursor-based pagination metadata
    - `limit` integer, required: Maximum number of results to return per page
    - `nextCursor` string, nullable: Cursor for fetching the next page of results in your next request (`null` if there are no more results)
    - `hasMore` boolean, required: Whether there are more results after this page

- `500`: Internal server error
