# Dismiss a library offer

`POST /api/reader/library-offer/dismiss`

## Request

**Access: write token.**

Dismiss the named pending chat offer for this reader. A stale offer ID has no effect on a newer offer.

## Request body

- DismissOfferIn
  - `reader_id` integer, nullable
  - `offer_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- Ok: The mutation acknowledgement: ``{"ok": true}``.
  - `ok` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or unusable credential.
- `403`: Insufficient token scope or the reader is outside your account.
- `422`: Validation Error
