# Create a draft campaign

`POST /campaigns`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a Lazy Ads campaign record in `draft` status (same as the dashboard). Publishing structure to the live platform happens through the MCP bridge (`create_manual_campaign`) or the AI builder. Requires a Starter+ AI plan on the account.

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Plan does not include this endpoint, key lacks the scope, or agency access denied
