# Generate Sound Effect Audio

`POST /api/projects/{project_id}/scenes/{scene_id}/audio-clips/generate-sound-effect`

Generate a sound effect audio clip using ElevenLabs text-to-sound-effects API.

This endpoint:
1. Validates the project and scene
2. Calls ElevenLabs Sound Effects API to generate audio
3. Uploads audio to CDN
4. Creates AudioClip record in database
5. Returns the created audio clip

## Path parameters

- `project_id` string, required
- `scene_id` string, required

## Request body

- GenerateSoundEffectRequest — Request schema for generating a sound effect audio clip
  - `prompt` string, required — Text description of the sound effect
  - `startTimestamp` integer, required — Start time in milliseconds
  - `durationSeconds` number, nullable — Optional duration in seconds (0.5-30)
  - `promptInfluence` number, nullable — How closely to follow the prompt (0-1)
  - `isLoop` boolean, nullable — When true, allows extending duration beyond source by looping
  - `audioClipId` string, nullable — Existing audio clip ID to update (for regeneration)
