# Update filesystem

`PATCH /storage/filesystems/{filesystem_id}`

Allow you to upgrade the size of a filesystem.

## Path parameters

- `filesystem_id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `data` object, required
    - `id` string, required — Filesystem ID
    - `type` 'filesystems', required
    - `attributes` object, required
      - `size_in_gb` integer, required — Size in GB (not required, default is 1500)
