# Create user data

`POST /user_data`

Allows you to create User Data in a team, which can be used to perform custom setup on your servers after deploy and reinstall.

## Request body

- object
  - `data` object, required
    - `type` 'user_data', required
    - `attributes` object
      - `description` string, required — description of the User Data
      - `project` string — Project ID or slug
      - `content` string, required — base64 encoded content of the User Data
