# Delete a node pool

`DELETE /lks/clusters/{cluster_id}/nodepools/{id}`

Marks the node pool for deletion. The call returns as soon as the tombstone is written; the platform then drains and releases the nodes asynchronously.

## Path parameters

- `cluster_id` string, required
- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

No Content

## Other responses

- `403` — Forbidden
- `404` — Not Found
- `409` — Conflict — the node pool is paused
- `502` — Bad Gateway — NetBox is temporarily unavailable
