# Delete API annotation

`DELETE /v1/projects/{projectSlug}/annotations/{annotationId}`

Deletes an API-created annotation by its Latitude-generated identifier.

## Path parameters

- `projectSlug` string, required — Project slug (human-readable identifier)
- `annotationId` string, required — Latitude-generated annotation identifier returned when the annotation was created.

## Response `204`

Annotation deleted

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Not found
