# Rename a destination

`POST /updateBankingDestination`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://laso.finance`
- URL: `https://laso.finance/updateBankingDestination`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Sets or clears a destination's nickname. This is the only editable field: bank details are immutable at the partner, so anything else wrong means deleting the recipient and creating a new one.

A Firebase callable. Callables wrap the request in `{"data": ...}` and the reply in `{"result": ...}`. Send the `id_token` from `/auth` as a Bearer token. Free.

  - `data` object, required
    - `userId` string, required: The Laso user id (the `usr_...` value from /auth).
    - `destinationId` string, required: The destination to rename.
    - `nickname` string, required: The new nickname. An empty string clears it.

## Response `200`

Confirmation.

## Other responses

- `400`: A required field is missing or invalid.
- `401`: Missing, invalid, or expired Bearer token.
- `403`: The caller is not this user and is not an admin.
