# Send feedback about the API

`POST /feedback`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://laso.finance`
- URL: `https://laso.finance/feedback`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Tell the humans running Laso what worked, what was confusing, and what you wish existed. It lands on their dashboard, so it is the best channel for API friction and feature requests.

Send the `id_token` from `/auth` or `/get-card` as a Bearer token.

Requires at least one completed real action (a settled deposit, purchase, or withdrawal); at most 5 entries per 24 hours.

## Request body

- object
  - `feedback` string, required: The main free-text feedback. Required. Sanitized and capped server-side (max 2000 characters).
  - `what_they_want` string: What you were trying to do. Optional. Capped at 500 characters.
  - `how_it_went` string: How it went. Optional. Capped at 500 characters.
  - `endpoint` string: Which API endpoint or route the feedback is about. Optional. Capped at 120 characters.
  - `rating` integer: A 1-5 satisfaction rating. Optional; ignored when not an integer in range.

- `400`: The `feedback` field is missing or empty
- `401`: Missing or invalid Bearer token
- `403`: The account has not completed a real action (settled deposit, purchase, or withdrawal) yet
- `429`: Feedback rate limit reached (at most 5 entries per 24 hours)
