# Read Flow Version State

`GET /api/v1/flows/{flow_id}/version-state`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: one of:
  - OAuth 2
    - Password
    - Token URL: `api/v1/login`
  - API key in query parameter `x-api-key`
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

Report which version of a flow is current, and who last changed it.

## Path parameters

- `flow_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- FlowVersionState: Just enough to tell whether an open editor is looking at a stale flow. Deliberately its own endpoint rather than fields on ``FlowRead``: the author's name needs a lookup, and putting that on the shared read model would run it once per row on every list endpoint.
  - `last_modified_by` string, uuid, nullable, required
  - `last_modified_by_username` string, nullable, required
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, nullable, required
  - `version_token` string, uuid, nullable, required
