# Start Connection Oauth

`POST /api/v1/connections/{connection_id}/oauth/start`

Authorize an instance-configured registration for an existing connection.

  - `scopes` string[], required

Successful Response

- OAuthStartResponse
  - `authorization_url` string, required: Open in the consent browser, including the loopback handoff on Desktop.
