# Resume a streamed sandbox command

`POST /api/v2/sandboxes/{sandbox_id}/execute/stream/resume`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smith.langchain.com`
- URL: `https://api.smith.langchain.com/api/v2/sandboxes/{sandbox_id}/execute/stream/resume`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - API key in header `X-Tenant-Id`
  - HTTP bearer

Continue streaming a command started by the stream start endpoint. The offsets are also the ack for everything below them, which frees the sandbox's output buffer and unpauses a command waiting for room. Attaches only: a command the sandbox no longer has returns 404 rather than running again.

## Path parameters

- `sandbox_id` string, required

## Request body

- SandboxesExecStreamResumeRequest
  - `command_id` string: CommandID names the command to attach to.
  - `stderr_offset` integer
  - `stdout_offset` integer: StdoutOffset and StderrOffset are where to continue from, and are also the ack for every buffered byte below them. Zero replays from the beginning, which is what a retry sends when the stream broke before any output arrived.

- `500`: Internal Server Error
