# Unshare a run

`DELETE /api/v2/runs/{trace_id}/share`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smith.langchain.com`
- URL: `https://api.smith.langchain.com/api/v2/runs/{trace_id}/share`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - API key in header `X-Tenant-Id`
  - HTTP bearer

Deletes the share token for the trace identified by trace_id and session_id. Idempotent: returns 204 whether or not a share token existed.

Self-hosted deployments require LangSmith `v0.16` or later.

## Path parameters

- `trace_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- ShareDeleteShareTokenRequestBody
  - `session_id` string, uuid, required: session_id is the tracing project UUID containing the trace.

## Response `204`

No Content

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `413`: Request Entity Too Large
- `500`: Internal Server Error
