# List commits

`GET /api/v1/commits/{owner}/{repo}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.smith.langchain.com`
- URL: `https://api.smith.langchain.com/api/v1/commits/{owner}/{repo}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - API key in header `X-Tenant-Id`
  - HTTP bearer

List commits for a repository, with pagination support.
This endpoint supports both authenticated and unauthenticated access.
Authenticated users can access private repositories; unauthenticated users can only access public repositories.
The include_stats parameter controls whether download and view statistics are computed (defaults to true).

  - `commits` CommitsCommitWithLookups[]: List of commits with lookup information
    - `commit_hash` string: The hash of the commit
    - `created_at` string, date-time: When the commit was created
    - `description` string: Optional human-readable description for the commit
    - `example_run_ids` string[]: Example run IDs associated with the commit
    - `full_name` string: Author's full name
    - `id` string, uuid: The commit ID
    - `manifest` object: The manifest of the commit
    - `manifest_sha` integer[]: The SHA of the manifest
    - `num_downloads` integer: Number of API downloads
    - `num_views` integer: Number of web views
    - `parent_commit_hash` string: The hash of the parent commit
    - `parent_id` string, uuid: The ID of the parent commit
    - `repo_id` string, uuid: Repository ID
    - `updated_at` string, date-time: When the commit was last updated
  - `total` integer: Total number of commits

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `404`: Not Found
- `500`: Internal Server Error
