# Delete a dataset

`DELETE /v1/datasets/{dataset_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.lmnr.ai`
- URL: `https://api.lmnr.ai/v1/datasets/{dataset_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deletes a dataset and its datapoints.

## Response `200`

Dataset deleted. Returns the deleted dataset.

- Dataset
  - `id` string, uuid, required
  - `name` string, required
  - `projectId` string, uuid, required
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: The requested resource was not found in this project.
