# StartExport

`POST /kythene.v1.KytheneService/StartExport`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://kythene.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

StartExport queues a full export of a workspace to a downloadable archive
 (#143). Owner/admin only; async - poll GetExport for completion. Not on MCP.

## Headers

- `Connect-Protocol-Version` 1, required: Define the version of the Connect protocol
- `Connect-Timeout-Ms` number: Define the timeout, in ms

## Request body

- KytheneV1StartExportRequest: StartExportRequest queues an export of a workspace (#143). space is the workspace id or name; empty uses the caller's current one.
  - `space` string: space is the workspace to export - an id or name; empty uses your current one.
  - `spaces` string[]: spaces optionally names MULTIPLE workspaces to export into one archive (a multi-space set, #146); you must be owner/admin of each. Empty uses `space` (or your current workspace).
