# ReviewBlock

`POST /kythene.v1.KytheneService/ReviewBlock`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://kythene.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

ReviewBlock flags one block of a renderable artifact and optionally comments
 on it - block-level review. Read the artifact first (get_artifact) for each
 block's anchor + text; address a block by anchor or by quoting its text.

## Headers

- `Connect-Protocol-Version` 1, required: Define the version of the Connect protocol
- `Connect-Timeout-Ms` number: Define the timeout, in ms

## Request body

- KytheneV1ReviewBlockRequest: ReviewBlockRequest flags/clears one block and optionally comments on it.
  - `collectionId` string: the collection you are reviewing (access + opt-in)
  - `artifactId` string: the artifact within it (from get_artifact)
  - `anchor` string: address by anchor (preferred) ...
  - `quotedText` string: ... or by quoting the block's text (server resolves)
  - `annotationId` string: annotation_id addresses an existing thread by id instead - the ONLY way to reach one whose block was rewritten (from get_artifact's block.annotation_id).
  - `status` string: status is one of needs_review, needs_work, done, approved, reject_remove. Empty clears the flag.
  - `comment` string: optional; allowed only when a status is set
  - `space` string: space optionally selects which of your spaces to act in (an id or name from list_spaces). Omit it when you belong to a single space.
