# MovePage

`POST /kythene.v1.KytheneService/MovePage`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://kythene.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://kythene.com/kythene.v1.KytheneService/MovePage`
- Auth: none required

MovePage re-parents or renames a page; its subtree travels with it and the
 old paths redirect.

## Headers

- `Connect-Protocol-Version` 1, required: Define the version of the Connect protocol
- `Connect-Timeout-Ms` number: Define the timeout, in ms

## Request body

- KytheneV1MovePageRequest
  - `wiki` string: wiki is the wiki the page is in - its id or slug.
  - `page` string: page is the page's id or its full path within the wiki.
  - `parent` string: parent is the page to move under - an id or a path. Omit to leave it where it is and only rename.
  - `slug` string: slug is the page's new path segment. Omit to leave the name alone.
  - `space` string: space optionally selects which of your spaces to act in (an id or name from list_spaces). Omit it when you belong to a single space.

## Response `200`

Success

- KytheneV1MovePageResponse
  - `path` string: path is where the page now lives.
  - `moved` integer: moved is how many pages changed path, including this one - its whole subtree travels with it, and every old path redirects.
  - `url` string: url is the page's link at its new path - hand THAT to a person, never the bare id.

## Other responses

- `default`: Error
