# LinkMemory

`POST /kythene.v1.KytheneService/LinkMemory`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://kythene.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://kythene.com/kythene.v1.KytheneService/LinkMemory`
- Auth: none required

LinkMemory creates an explicit link from one memory to another (a curated
relationship in the memory graph). [[wikilinks]] in a memory body are linked
automatically; this is for links a body does not spell out.

## Headers

- `Connect-Protocol-Version` 1, required: Define the version of the Connect protocol
- `Connect-Timeout-Ms` number: Define the timeout, in ms

## Request body

- KytheneV1LinkMemoryRequest
  - `fromId` string: from_id is the memory the link starts at; to_id is the memory it points to. Both are memory (collection) ids in the caller's space.
  - `toId` string: to_id is the target memory the link points to (see from_id).
  - `remove` boolean: remove deletes the from_id -> to_id link instead of creating it.
  - `space` string: space optionally selects which of your spaces to act in (an id or name from list_spaces). Omit it when you belong to a single space.

## Response `200`

Success

- KytheneV1LinkMemoryResponse

## Other responses
