# CreateSpace

`POST /kythene.v1.KytheneService/CreateSpace`

## Request

CreateSpace creates a new workspace owned by the caller, subject to the
 caller's plan workspace limit. Returns the new space's id.

## Headers

- `Connect-Protocol-Version` 1, required: Define the version of the Connect protocol
- `Connect-Timeout-Ms` number: Define the timeout, in ms

## Request body

- KytheneV1CreateSpaceRequest
  - `name` string: name is the new workspace's display name.

## Response `200`

Success

  - `id` string
  - `name` string
  - `slug` string: slug is the workspace's readable URL segment, derived from the name (empty if the name had nothing slug-able). Used in share links.
