# Comment

`POST /kythene.v1.KytheneService/Comment`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://kythene.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Comment writes a comment on a collection or artifact, pinned to its
 current revision/version.

## Headers

- `Connect-Protocol-Version` 1, required: Define the version of the Connect protocol
- `Connect-Timeout-Ms` number: Define the timeout, in ms

## Request body

- KytheneV1CommentRequest
  - `collectionId` string: Exactly one of collection_id / artifact_id.
  - `artifactId` string: artifact_id comments on a single artifact (from get_artifact); use instead of collection_id.
  - `body` string: body is the comment text (markdown welcome).
  - `space` string: space optionally selects which of your spaces to act in (an id or name from list_spaces). Omit it when you belong to a single space.

  - `pinnedRevision` integer
  - `pinnedVersion` integer
  - `url` string: url opens the comment where it sits - hand THAT to a person, never the bare id.
