# Submit feedback or a feature request

`POST /api/v1/feedback`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://fermi.kromatic.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://fermi.kromatic.com/api/v1/feedback`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Send feedback, a feature request, or a bug report to the Fermi team. An email is sent to the team and a copy is sent to the address you provide. Authentication is optional — if you include your X-API-Key, your account ID is attached to the message.

## Request body

- FeedbackRequest
  - `type` 'feedback' | 'feature_request' | 'bug', required: The kind of feedback: 'feedback' for general comments, 'feature_request' for new capabilities, 'bug' for issues.
  - `message` string, required: Your feedback or request. Be as specific as possible.
  - `sender_email` string, email, required: Your email address. A copy of your feedback will be sent here so you have a record of what you submitted.
  - `sender_name` string, nullable: Your name (optional).

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- FeedbackResponse
  - `status` string, required: 'sent' on success.
  - `message` string, required: Confirmation message.

- `422`: Validation Error
