# Every FRED series this platform tracks, with its latest observation

The catalogue behind `/v1/macro/fred/{series_id}/history`: one row per series with its id, label, units, the newest stored observation and that observation's own date.

THIS IS NOT A FRED BROWSER AND MUST NOT BECOME ONE. FRED's terms prohibit an application that replicates the essential user experience of the FRED API, so the list is exactly the series Kresmion itself fetches for its own surfaces, and an id outside it is a 404 on the history route rather than a pass-through.

A series whose FRED copyright tier requires pre-approval (the ICE BofA family) is listed with `restricted: true` and carries no value (`withheld: "licence"`) when the platform is configured to hide or block it. `date` is the observation's own date; `as_of` is when these rows were last confirmed against FRED, which is a different fact.
