# Recent liquidation events + cascade totals

`GET /crypto/liquidations`

## Request

Realized perpetual liquidation events (DESCRIPTIVE history only — never predicted levels). Filter by symbol, side (the closing order: buy|sell), a USD floor (default $10k), and a look-back window (≤ 168h).

`meta.cascades` sums liquidated USD by side over the trailing 1h and 4h (all sizes, scoped to `symbol` if given, independent of `min_usd` / `hours`).

COVERAGE — this feed is currently single-venue with a small starter symbol set (BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE). `meta.coverage` reports the exact venues and symbols seen in the trailing 30 days, computed from the data. Do NOT read it as whole-market liquidation volume.

## Query parameters

- `symbol` string, nullable: Restrict to one symbol (uppercased).
- `side` string, nullable: Closing-order side: buy | sell.
- `min_usd` number: USD size floor.
- `hours` integer: Look-back window in hours.
- `limit` integer
