# Company profile: CIK, ticker history, listing status

`GET /companies/{ticker}`

## Request

One company as Kresmion tracks it: the SEC CIK, the EDGAR filing-address country, the reporting regime (domestic or foreign private issuer), every former ticker (`renamed_from`, `ticker_history`), whether it still trades (`trading`, and for a closed company `listing_status` with the SEC forms behind it), and how many filings Kresmion holds. A former ticker resolves to the current row and `resolved_via` says so. No market-data-vendor field (sector, price, market cap) is served here.

## Path parameters

- `ticker` string, required: Ticker (NVDA), a former ticker (BK resolves to BNY; a closed company resolves to its <T>.D row), or a CIK.
