# Generate a video from text

`POST /videos/generations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.krater.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://api.krater.ai/v1/videos/generations`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create a video from a text prompt. Supported models include LTX, Wan, MiniMax, Kling, Seedance, Veo and Sora families. Credits are charged dynamically based on model, duration and resolution.

## Request body

- VideoGenerationRequest
  - `prompt` string, required: Text description of the video to generate.
  - `model` string: Video model identifier.
  - `duration` integer: Video length in seconds, model dependent.
  - `aspect_ratio` string: Aspect ratio, for example 16:9 or 9:16.
  - `resolution` string: Output resolution for models that support it, for example 720p or 1080p.
  - `pro` boolean: Use the pro tier of the model, when available.
  - `generate_audio` boolean: Generate native audio, for models that support it.
  - `version` string: Specific model version to pin.

## Response `200`

Generated video URL.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body or parameters.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key. Pass Authorization: Bearer kr_live_...
- `402`: Not enough credits, or the API key's daily credit cap is reached.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded (default 60 requests per minute per key). Includes a Retry-After header.
