# Cancel a policy amendment intent

`POST /policies/{policy_id}/policy_amendment_intents/{id}/cancel`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Cancels a policy amendment intent when the employee decides not to proceed. Can only cancel intents in `action_required` or `pending_confirmation` status.
