# Get thread

`GET /threads/{thread-id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.korey.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.korey.ai/api/v1/threads/{thread-id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns a single thread by ID. 404 for private threads not owned by the caller.

- `thread-id` string, uuid, required

Success

- object
  - `id` string, required: Unique thread ID.
  - `name` string, nullable, required: Optional display name for the thread.
  - `state` 'ready' | 'waiting' | 'active' | 'error' | 'interrupted', required: Current processing state of the thread.
  - `is_private` boolean, required: When true the thread is only visible to its owner.
  - `archived` boolean, required: Whether the thread has been archived.
  - `owner` object, required: The user who created the thread.
    - `id` string, required: Owner user ID.
    - `name` string, nullable, required: Owner display name.
  - `created_at` string, required: ISO 8601 timestamp when the thread was created.
  - `updated_at` string, required: ISO 8601 timestamp when the thread was last updated.
  - `app_url` string, required: Direct link to this thread in the Korey web app.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized — Bearer token required or invalid
- `403`: Forbidden — token does not have required scope
- `404`: Not found
