# Move files or folders to a target folder

`POST /dam/folders/{folder_id}/move-to`

Moves multiple files and/or folders into the destination folder specified. Process is run synchronously, so response time is potentially long. Only 'file' and 'folder' resources can be moved into a folder.

  - `meta` object
    - `file_conflict_resolution` 'skip' | 'overwrite' | 'rename': How to handle file conflicts when moving. 'skip' will skip conflicting files, 'overwrite' will delete the existing file and add the moved file, 'rename' will rename the moved file to avoid conflicts (default)
    - `allow_archive_move` boolean: Allow archiving or unarchiving via move operation. Please be aware of the consequences of archiving files.
