# Deletes a single DAM folder and its containing files.

`DELETE /dam/folders/{folder_id}`

## Delete DAM Folder
Endpoint for deleting a folder. The folder may not be trashed, locked, contain subfolders, and the token user must have delete access to the file's original folder.
Additonally, the folder must not contain any files with external references.

## Path parameters

- `folder_id` string, required

## Response `204`

no content

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
- `423`: Locked
