# Create a single file thumbnail

`POST /dam/files/{file_id}/thumbnails`

## Create File Thumbnail
    Endpoint for retrieving a file. The file may not be trashed, incomplete or soft deleted.

## Path parameters

- `file_id` string, required

## Request body `multipart/form-data`

  - `data[attributes][thumbnail_content]` string, binary: Thumbnail content

## Response `202`
